Orders over $200 must be held for 7 to 9 business days. With the weakening of the US Dollar and the rising strength of the Japanese Yen shipping charges can change without notice.

Shipping from Japan can be expensive so you have to consider two things:

Do you want speed or afford-ability?

If speed is what you need please scroll down to EMS.

All Economy Air (SAL) and AIRMAIL orders have a one time $4.00 handling fee to cover shipping insurance and tracking number.

The complete list of shipping rates follows.

---SAL, Economy Airmail

The recommended method of shipping is Economy Air (SAL) (Surface Air Lift), which is handled as surface mail in your home country but uses air transport over water so that your order will reach you in a timely manner (typically 2-5 weeks). SAL is 6.80 per 460 grams/ 1 Lbs

SAL is available worldwide. Canada is limited to 2000 grams. SAL world wide is limited to 4000 grams/8.8 Lbs.

----Airmail (Takes 7-10 days) and is $11.60 per 460 grams/ 1 Lbs. Airmail is available worldwide. Canada is limited to 2000 grams. Airmail world wide is limited to 4000 grams/8.8 Lbs.

----EMS

(Takes 3-4 business days to reach you) is obviously the best option for people in a hurry. EMS is $21.50 per 460 grams / 1 Lbs. It will be insured and have a tracking number. There isn't a $4.50 handling charge with EMS

NOTE: The above shipping times are not necessarily inclusive of customs clearance or other potential delays. After Sept. 11, the U.S. started processing incoming packages more slowly, and delays can come about as a result of this. Some countries have strict customs which can also delay shipping.

Each order will be sent with "DO NOT FOLD" written on the package as many times as the Japanese post office allows. We've heard that this is sometimes ignored by certain mail carriers. If your package arrives damaged DO NOT OPEN IT! Bring it to your local post office (immediately) to complain. You must open it in front of them in order to claim damages.

Please know that while we strive to get orders sent as fast as possible, the fact is, our shipping department (ME) can only get to the post office about twice a week. Please understand this and don't expect that immediate payment will result in immediate shipping.
